Russell Westbrook has been sent to another franchise for weeks, he who may not return to the start of the school year as a Lakers player. His team is preparing for everything, but the leader would have every intention of honoring his contract. Brodie recently opened up with LeBron James and Anthony Davis, and here’s what came out of it.
It’s not really joy at the Lakers for a year. Last season ended badly without a place in the playoffs or play-in. A real fiasco, summed up by the arrival of Russell Westbrook, who never had the hoped-for contribution alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Fans are already calling for his departure, while the front office is negotiating with the Nets for a Brodie trade, in exchange for Kyrie Irving. So far, no progress.
Big explanation between LeBron, Davis and Westbrook!
For many, the point of no return has been reached in the City of Angels. A departure from Westbrook seems inevitable, which means that we can expect a future trade, whatever happens. This is not the version put forward by Chris Haynes this Monday evening, who claims that Russ explained himself with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The objective was relatively simple: to commit to making this trio work.
Los Angeles Lakers’ Big 3 of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook huddled for a phone conversation to confirm their commitment to each other through the uncertainty, league sources told @YahooSports: https://t.co/7a4Ykdgo6V

The Lakers’ Big 3, namely LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook, met on the phone during the first week of the Summer League in Las Vegas, each expressing their commitment to the other, and promising to do make their trio work.
With Westbrook’s future very uncertain, the conversation ensured that everyone was on the same page regarding the eventual victory. Important to note that Westbrook never requested a trade.
That doesn’t mean Westbrook is going to stay with the Lakers, but if it does, the three will try to make this line work once again. The experiment didn’t work last year, but the Big 3 may be hoping for something different under Darvin Ham, who will want a lot of defensive involvement. Otherwise, he will not hesitate to sanction.
A news little appreciated by the fans, who are still hoping for Brodie’s departure by the end of the summer:

Russell Westbrook, LeBron James and Anthony Davis have made things clear: if the trio finds itself at the start of the school year, it will be necessary to do the maximum to win a title. Team priority for this Big 3, although a trade is still the most likely option before the start of training camp. A rebound cannot be ruled out.
