Antoine Lenoir, candidate for “Don’t forget the lyrics”, dies at 19 in a road accident

The young man, who made himself known on the show in May 2021, had just recorded a new number of the program, which is to be broadcast on July 8.

The accident occurred in Fresnes-Mazancourt, between Péronne and Roye, in the Somme. He was driving on a slippery road after a storm when he lost control of his car.

“The car went into a crab when a heavy weight arrived in front of it which hit it head-on, and sent it against the brick wall of the bridge wall”, details The Courrier Picard.

He had just joined a group

The young man was immediately helped by a motorist. Then in cardio-respiratory arrest, he received cardiac massage while waiting for help, but he was declared dead an hour after the accident.

Student in hospitality and catering, this passionate about singing and music had made himself known by participating in May 2021 in the Nagui program. He had just joined the group Rock and Five and participated in his first Fête de la Musique.

Antoine Lenoir had also just recorded a new broadcast of Do not forget the lyrics. It is due to air on July 8.
