Earlier today, the Italian press was excited about a potential agreement between PSG and Lille for Renato Sanches.
According to information from La Repubblica, Paris Saint-Germain and Lille have reached an agreement for the transfer of Renato Sanches. The amount of the transfer would amount to 25 million euros excluding bonuses, a nice sum for the Mastiffs given the contractual situation of Renato Sanches, whose lease at LOSC expires in a year. But according to information from Foot Mercato, Paris SG has not yet drawn up an official proposal to secure the services of Renato Sanches. Luis Campos and Christophe Galtier are very interested in the profile of the Portuguese midfielder but for the time being, no official approach has been made by PSG. Moreover, there is therefore no agreement for the moment between the last two champions of France.
Renato Sanches available for less than 25 ME?
This information, however, includes good news for Paris Saint-Germain. According to Foot Mercato, Lille will not claim 25 million euros for Renato Sanches. Given the contractual situation of the former Bayern Munich player, the Mastiffs will not be so greedy. Excellent news for Luis Campos and for PSG, who could therefore recover the great hope of Portuguese football for less than the 25 million euros announced by the Italian press in recent hours. It will then be necessary to settle the question of the agreement with the player and his entourage, while AC Milan has also expressed its interest in recruiting Renato Sanches. It would seem that for the moment, Renato Sanches does not have a preference. “He will go where his agent tells him to go” according to Santi Aouna, transfer window specialist for FM. Suffice to say that the Renato Sanches file smells very good for the Parisian club even if the signing of the player is not yet imminent.
