Fête de la Musique 2022: What to do in Paris?

The Fête de la Musique turns 40 this Tuesday. In Île-de-France, more than 400 festive events are already referenced on the website of the Ministry of Culture. In Paris, open air, free concerts, DJ sets, etc. are, of course, on the agenda. Here is a (non-exhaustive) selection of all the concerts available to you.

Angèle, Pomme and Franz Ferdinand in free concert at the Olympia

You will have to be there early this Tuesday evening to hope to be able to cross the doors of the Olympia. And for good reason, France Inter is once again offering a musical evening open to all (subject to availability). From 8 p.m., five artists will follow one another on the mythical stage: Angèle, Pomme, Franz Ferdinand, Benjamin Biolay and the Australian group Parcels!

Concerts and mega quiz at Point Ephémère

Music and a beautiful view. The Point Ephémère (10th arrondissement) opens its rooftop to musicians. On the program: DJ set, giant blind test, bingo, quiz, concerts and karaoke. The evening will be hosted by the feminist group Vénus Club. A free experience open to all, from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m.

The Institute of the Arab World in the colors of Algeria

A series of open-air concerts is being prepared in front of the forecourt of the Arab World Institute. Sofiane Saidi, Naïma Yahi or even Ziyara… In total, no less than seven concerts will follow from 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Artists and music lovers will be able to sing together the emblematic Algerian repertoire. Free admission without reservation.

Dancing to music from overseas

Groove, Pop, Zouk, Jazz… Enough to dance all night long at the Hôtel de Montmorin. The Overseas Ministry honors artists from Guyana, Reunion, Martinique and Guadeloupe. Misié Sadik, Yoan, Stacy, or even Mikl. In total, no less than seven concerts follow one another during the evening! Free admission subject to availability.

Musical fevers at Pitié-Salpêtrière

It’s a first. The Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital (13th arrondissement) invites music into its walls. Until June 25, the public will be able to come and discover the first edition of Fièvres musicales where piano and chamber music are in the spotlight. This Tuesday, classical lovers will be able to attend a free concert. Book here.
