Less than a week from the French Championship and a month from the Women’s Tour de France, the FDJ-Nouvelle Aquitaine-Futuroscope had invited the press this Monday morning to the barge “Les Jardins du Pont Neuf”, on the island of the City, in Paris.
It is on the sponsorship side that Stephen Delcourt’s team will experience something new. The Suez group thus becomes a new co-sponsor for three years. From July 15, the team will then become FDJ-Suez-Futuroscope. Before becoming, in 2023, FDJ-Suez.
At the same time, FDJ renewed its commitment until 2025. Futuroscope and Nouvelle-Aquitaine also continue to support the French WorldTeam. “The support of Suez and FDJ, alongside our historical partners, will be decisive in achieving the highest level of performance for the team. The path traveled since the creation of the team in 2006 is a source of immense pride. human and sporting adventure with strong motivation and great ambitions”admits Stephen Delcourt.
The current FDJ-Nouvelle Aquitaine-Futuroscope was created in 2006 under the name Vienne-Futuroscope. Over the years, it has become a major structure in women’s cycling, especially since the arrival of the FDJ as main partner in 2017. This season, the Vienne-based team has already recorded four WorldTour successes (see here).
