Without giving more details, the sports daily explains that UEFA wants details on their financial situation. In total, around thirty clubs are in the same situation. Depending on the answers provided, a procedure could be opened by the ICFC against the two Ligue 1 teams.

PSG and OM are confident

We are not there yet. Moreover, the Parisians and the Marseillais assure not to fear a sanction. There were exchanges and additional documents were indeed requested from us, confirms OM L’Equipe. We have given them and, from our point of view, it will be resolved. Our accounts are doing better than they were. The club is getting back on track. There are now far fewer losses and we aim to be even next season. .

On Sunday, L’Equipe revealed that PSG would end the 2021-2022 financial year with losses estimated at between 200 and 300 million euros. And this, after having already recorded €225 million in losses in 2020-2021. For its part, OM posted net losses of €76.4 million as of June 30, 2021.
