Lyon: rappers Lacrim and Many Gt from the Dalton gang block the highway to shoot a wild clip

Very powerful cars, scooters, motocross and a kind of buggy that makes drifts right in the middle of the A43 motorway. This is what we can see in the images shared on social networks, filmed by the leader of the Daltons (a group of rappers from Lyon who have authored urban rodeos on motorcycles), who published behind the scenes of these videos on his account. Snapchat.

In the middle of this staging, we can recognize the famous rapper Lacrim and Mehdi Fiad alias Many GT, a member of the Daltons, driving a huge orange Lamborghini and a red Ferrari. In the middle of the afternoon, the procession which had started filming a rap clip, therefore set off from the 8th arrondissement of Lyon, with dozens of young people, to stop on the tracks of the A43.

The “joyful” procession moves while honking while the two wheels rodeo before stopping and interrupting traffic by occupying all the lanes in the direction of Grenoble. If traffic was only disrupted for a few minutes, this wild filming remains illegal. According to Le Progrès, the police were unable to make any arrests because of the rapid flight of the participants.

Many GT already sentenced for rodeos during music video shoots

One of the participants, Many GT, knows this well. Last August, the man who already had 14 convictions on his criminal record, was sentenced to 9 months in prison. He was being prosecuted for his participation in urban rodeos during the filming of clips in the spring. According to the prosecution, he organized four rodeos with luxury vehicles, motorcycles and go-karts in the streets of the 8th arrondissement and on the Lyon ring road, between February 14 and June 17, 2021.

With his collective of rappers from Lyon, wearing the costumes of the famous Lucky Luke comic strip, Many GT taunts and defies the police during urban rodeos. A “game” relayed on social networks, which aims to weaken the image of the police.

Lacrim, whom Le Parisien had interviewed and received last December for his album “Persona Non Grata”, has already been sentenced several times and imprisoned. “I was hit by the street and my parents ended up giving up. But prison made me a mature person and now I’m their pride. Whatever happens, I remain a model of success”, he explained to us.

The idea of shooting a wild clip on the highway is not new. In April 2017, rapper Fianso was taken into police custody after blocking the A3 for a wild clip, near Aulnay-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis). A clip viewed more than 56 million times on YouTube. For this, Fianso was sentenced in 2018 to a four-month suspended prison sentence and a fine of 1,500 euros.
