Six years after their divorce, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard continue to accuse each other of domestic violence. The trial between the two actors for a month took a new turn this Wednesday with the testimony of Kate Moss, ex-companion of Mr.
New twist in the defamation lawsuit between Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard. On Wednesday, May 25, Kate Moss was called to testify in court in Fairfax, Virginia. From her home in Gloucestershire, England, the top denied a rumor raised recently by Amber Heard, according to which she was pushed down the stairs by Johnny Depp during their relationship. Romance that lasted three years, between 1994 and 1997.
The 48-year-old ex-model was asked about a trip made with Johnny Depp to Jamaica, at the Golden Eye resort. Asked what happened during this stay, Kate Moss recalled: “I was leaving the room and there had been a thunderstorm and when I left the room, I slipped down the stairs and I hurt my back. And I screamed because I didn’t know what had happened to me and I was in pain, he ran to come and help me and took me into my room and got me treated. The actor therefore did not push her that day, or even at any time during their romance: “No, he never pushed me, kicked me or pushed me down the stairs.” Later this Wednesday, Johnny Depp confirmed the memories of Kate Moss and clarified that he had mentioned this accident to Amber Heard during their marriage. But according to Lily-Rose and Jack’s father (22 and 20), the story was ‘turned into a very ugly incident in his mind’.
Kate Moss’ name was mentioned by Amber Heard, when she recounted an argument that allegedly broke out between Johnny Depp and his sister Whitney in 2015. Worried about her husband physically attacking his sister, who was standing on the edge of the stairs, Amber Heard said, “I don’t hesitate, I don’t wait – instantly I think of Kate Moss and the stairs. And I punched him. In my entire relationship with Johnny up to that point, I had never raised my hand. And I, for the first time, hit him. Really hit, straight to the face.”
This is not the first time that Amber Heard has mentioned an incident that would have involved Kate Moss and a staircase, when the latter was dating Johnny Depp. As the “New York Post” recalls, already during the first trial in London in 2020, the actress had declared: “I remembered information that I had heard, [selon lesquelles] he had pushed a former girlfriend – I believe it was Kate Moss – down the stairs (…). I had heard this rumor from two people and it was fresh in my mind.
“I was difficult to live with”
The romantic relationship of Johnny Depp and the English model was marked by some shocks, notably in 1994 in New York, when the actor was arrested after destroying their hotel room. Shortly after their break-up in 1997, Johnny Depp told “Hello” magazine that he felt responsible for their separation: “I was difficult to live with, I let my work come between us and I didn’t give it to him. gave it the attention I should have given it.”

Discreet about her private life, Kate Moss was still back on this break during an interview with “Vanity Fair” in 2012. The top had then confided to having cried for years after their separation: “There is no no one who’s ever really been able to take care of me. Johnny did a little. I believed what he said. Like when I said: “What am I doing?”, he answered me. And that’s what I missed when I left. I really lost that gauge of someone I could trust.”
