This Wednesday, May 25, Kate Moss testified at the trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. The top model has denied a rumor mentioned by the actress of Aquaman in her deposition.
It is particularly rare in interviews, in the press and on television. Once is not custom, Kate Moss came out of her reserve to testify during the defamation lawsuit brought by Johnny Depp to his ex-wife, Amber Heard. At the request of the actor’s lawyers, the one nicknamed The twig spoke by videoconference from Gloucestershire, England, to refute a rumor raised by Amber Heard a few days earlier. In her May 5 deposition, the American actress mentioned a rumor that Johnny Depp pushed Kate Moss down the stairs during a vacation in Jamaica, when they were a couple (from 1994 to 1998, editor’s note). Questioned by the lawyer for her ex-companion, the famous British model denied this information. “We were leaving the room“, she explained. Johnny left the room before me, and there had been a rain storm. Leaving the room, I slipped down the stairs and hurt my back. I screamed because I didn’t know what had happened to me and because I was in pain. He ran to me and helped me, he carried me to my room and brought me medical attention.”
Johnny Depp: this question from his lawyer objected by the lawyers of Amber Heard
Johnny Depp’s lawyer continued the questioning by asking if the actor had it “pushed down the stairs somehow?”, to which Kate Moss replied in the negative. “During your relationship, did he push you down any stairs?“, he added. “He never pushed me, kicked me or threw me down any stairs“, replied Kate Moss. Johnny Depp’s lawyer finally asked the former model why she had chosen to testify, but his request was objected to by the opposing camp, with the agreement of the judge.
