Sunday May 22, 2022, Virginie Efira posed for photographers at the photocall for the film Don Juan, during the Cannes Film Festival. The mistress of ceremonies appeared resplendent in a dress signed Saint Laurent.
A passage in front of the photographers noticed! After two years disrupted by the health crisis, the Cannes Film Festival made its big comeback on Tuesday May 17, 2022. If during the opening ceremony, Virginie Efira had appeared in a sublime silver tight dress signed Yves Saint Laurent, the mistress of ceremony of this edition opted for a more discreet choice during the photocall of the film Don Juan. Back on the Croisette, Sunday May 22, 2022, the pretty blonde wore a fitted mid-length black dress, highlighting her neckline. In order to highlight this Saint Laurent creation, the actress had chosen a light make-up.
In Don Juan, in theaters this Monday, May 23, 2022, Virginie Efira embodies the ex-girlfriend of Don Juan (Tahar Rahim, editor’s note) who is obsessed with her. Proud of this film and of having worked with the actor, it was on the Daily set that she revealed on Monday May 2, 2022: “Everyone should know: he’s the smartest guy on the planet. The best partner I’ve had. He has a taste for the game and for others, he is an amazing professional and has a deep humility, which is remarkable for an actor.“Touched by these words, Tahar Rahim had declared for his part about the pretty blonde:”He is someone who welcomes everyone every day. She has a raw talent, an absolute generosity. The ideal playmate. She harvests sunlight like no other.“
Virginie Efira: “We just climb stairs”
If the actress is a fan of cinema, she is however less a fan of red carpets. In the Sunday newspapershe confided on May 14, 2022: “I have a hard time with people who talk about it as an incredible moment in life: ‘I really enjoyed my red carpet…’ We just climb stairs under the eye of the photographers. Maybe it’s because I always step aside when there’s something sacred. Finally, she added:Where I came from, Cannes, it was Hollywood, a temple. From the moment we’re there, oYou can no longer value it in the same way, otherwise you become crazy or narcissistic.“
