Not a great suspense, let’s not lie. At the end of his contract with Real Madrid, attacking midfielder Isco (30 years old, 17 appearances and 2 goals in all competitions this season) will indeed leave the merengue club this summer, as confirmed by his coach Carlo Ancelotti after the last La Liga match against Betis Sevilla (0-0) on Friday.
“We talked about it before the game. He made his debut for Madrid against Betis by scoring a header (on August 18, 2013 for a 2-1 victory, editor’s note). And he did today (yesterday, editor’s note) his farewell with Madrid against Betis, underlined the Italian technician on Friday, in remarks reported by the specialized site Real-France. He had a fantastic career and was the key to the great successes of Real Madrid. I think that “he could have done more, yes, but I think he was an important part of this team. He played a lot of important matches, finals… He always competed, with a lot of quality. I wish him the best.”
Quite a symbol: Isco should just bounce back with the Verdiblancos (see here).
